Minnesota

In October we traveled to MN to visit with my parents, I didn't get that many pictures unfortunately as our batteries kept dying in our camera and we just didn't buy new ones. This time it was fun because we were able to take Morgan to a few things that we couldn't do last time. We went to the Mall of America and Morgan got to ride on her first carousel ride, she wasn't sure what to think about it, but I still think she had fun
she was still really small for most of the rides, so we had to improvise and put her on this ride, she really liked it:
we also took her to the Zoo, it was unreasonably cold and snowing when we were there so we didn't get to do any of the outside stuff at the Zoo but she still had a great time. Here she is staring at the Monkey's, they were a hit!Morgan even got to visit with her newest cousin Brayden

She had a great time playing with my parents dog, it took her a few days to get used to being somewhere new, but I think she had fun!!

Here she is cuddling with grandpa:

Overdue Update

It has been a long time since I have had any time to update our blog and now I finally found some time to get on and update all of you!

We have had a very busy couple of months!! In September we went to Hood River, OR to meet up with Tyson's family, it was great to be able to see everyone again. The last time we had meet up was two years ago and three of us girls were pregnant, it was so neat to get together and have the three kids play, especially since they are so close in age, Morgan was born in January and Maggie and Asher were born in March. Here is a picture of them together:

We stayed in the huge house and got to go and do some really neat sightseeing, Aunt Patty, Cousin Jamie, Asher, Morgan and I went and visited a Lavender field, it was really neat to see, I only wish the Lavender was blooming at the time so we could of seen the color. Morgan and Asher had a great time too:
Here is the whole gang, we can't wait till the next Pechanec/Pusateri/Price reunion!!!

Summer Fun

Wow this summer has gone by fast!!!! Morgan is learning something new everyday and you can see her just soaking up what you are teaching her!!! So far she can say Dada, Mommy, Abbie, Puppy, Hi, Bye, Uh-Oh (a favorite), Ball (sounds like Baa) and she is trying to say Shoes (it sounds like shzzz) and Purple (sounds like Ppple). She loves books and will bring them to you over and over, although she won't let you read them, she likes the pictures. This summer we have been having fun w/ water as you can see from the pictures

She loved the hose, and really liked it when Dada put his foot out for her to try and get wet!!!

We went and got her a little kiddie pool and she loves it!!! It is nice to have this when it is so hot outside but too hot to not have something to cool you down!

I can say that she LOVES water and I am hoping to start swimming classes with her coming up and I know that she will really enjoy it!!

The Zoo

It has been forever since I uploaded anything but I have been just trying to spend all my time with Morgan instead of updating web stuff...so now I have time to update!! We took Morgan to the zoo for the first time, Tyson and I went along with Jamie (tyson's sister) and Morgan's cousin Maggie, we had a blast!! I have to say I was hesitent that Morgan wouldn't even understand the concept of animals but she LOVED it!!!
Here she is staring at a bird:

Maggie having fun:

She really liked the birds that were in lower cages so she could see them, she didn't want to leave each site, we had to pick her up to the next site for her to see, she loves animals. The best expression I saw was the giraffe's she was amazed by them!!

once we got to the giraffe's one of them came and stood right in front of us the whole time we were there, here is another pic

as you can see from the next pic she wasn't happy that I turned her around for a mommy and daughter pic as she couldn't see the giraffe!!

the penquins were also a hit, she loved watching them swim up and down in the water:

I think we all had a great time and I will defiantly bring Morgan back, it is NOT the MN Zoo by any means, but it does the job for now...we ended the day with love as we started the zoo with love, with Morgan giving Maggie kisses.

2 Weeks

So most of you know I lost my voice 3 weeks ago, and now it is BACK!!! I have my full voice ( still not the same but I will take it) on the 3 week mark that I lost it!! I have never had anything as crazy happen to me like this before and you can't even imagine how FRUSTRATING it is, I couldn't just pick up the phone and call someone as they would think I was creepy!!! Anyways my point is that I took an LOA from work as I couldn't do 3/4 of my job and I got to spend the last 2 weeks as a temporary stay at home mom. I have to say that I absolutely loved being able to do this but know that it isn't going to happen as a full time situation. I got to really bond more with Morgan during this time and it is wonderful. She has become really attached to me and I can see her learning something new everyday. Also during this time I got some great pictures that I wanted to share with everyone, she is getting so big it is hard to remember what she was like when she was so little.

Everyday she tries to do something new and I have to say that she has no fear, if she can climb it she will, if she can stand on it she will, I have more fear than she does!! The other day Tyson had her in the bonus room and she climbed up the exersaucer and got in it, legs all in the right spots and everything, you have to understand the exersaucer comes up to her chest, how she got in it I don't know, but she has no fear

As you can see from this pic, she took her rocking horse and climbed up the recliner

Morgan vocabulary is growing as well, she can say Dada, Hi, Abbie, Puppy, Mommy (that is her current favorite, it is Mommy everything) and I think she is trying to say Bowl, she knows what a ball is if I tell her to go and get the ball, but she doesn't say it, we are trying to teach her to say Abbie No, as Abbie is always in her way, but she hasn't started that. She will shake her head yes and no, which helps a lot because even though she can't talk at least I can ask her and she can say yes or no with her head. She is slowly starting the "tantrum" stage and you would think the world is coming to an end, she will fall to the floor and hang her head down crying...it is hard to not giggle as it is so sad!! She is really into getting on my lap with a book and having me read it to her, then she will go and get another book and again I read that, over and over, she is very consistent!!

She also is infatuated with going outside and loves it, our front yard is a bit steep and she hasn't learned how to slow down her walking without falling so we have to keep a close eye on her but she loves just being outside!

We look forward to a TON of camping this summer and watching our little girl grow. Here is a picture of where she was a year ago just to put in perspective on how much she has grown! It is crazy to see how small she was!

Memorial Weekend Camping

So as many of you know that I have been w/o a voice for about two weeks, well prior to loosing my voice we planned on going camping with Don and Heather for Memorial Weekend and I still really wanted to go, it was a different experience with all the whispering I had to do but I think Morgan still had fun!!

She really loved being outside and wandering around, she had quite a few spills but hey she hasn't been walking that long!!

She definitely at her fair share of dirt!! She was all about what she could eat than anything, as you can see from this picture, of course I was the "crazy" mom who kept trying to clean her face, even for it to turn it dirty in seconds!!

She was really into playing with Reagan and Brooks this time around, it was nice they kept each other entertained!!

Here are Morgan and Brooks playing, they are already giving each other the eye, too bad they don't know their parents are wanting them to get married, what fun family activities would be!!

Like I said Morgan did really good on this camping trip, if only she knew to sleep in like normal and not get up when it turned light out would be nice!

Here she is with Dada

Here she is with me giving me kisses, which she loves to do!!

We look to many more camping trips this summer, if only we can teach Morgan to sleep in that would be nice!

Morgan in May

Wow this month has gone by fast!!! Everyday Morgan is getting "older" and what I mean is she is really growing into her personality and it is so weird to think of it happening so fast because it seems like yesterday that a year ago she could just roll over and now she is all over the place!!

We have moved most of her toys upstairs in the bonus room and we are really enjoying that, right after we get home and she has a snack we go upstairs to play and that leaves our living room nice and spacious w/o all the toys, and Morgan seems to enjoy the space to run around in as it doesn't have that much furniture

So far her personality is panning out to what I thought it would be, she is a jokester, an total entertainer, she does things and then looks at us and laughs, she cracks us up multiple times in the day and I love that about her!!

When I say that she is into everything, she is into EVERYTHING, she becomes obsessed with one thing and she is determined to accomplish that task no matter what, the other day she just had to revisit some of her old toys that we have in storage

But I have to say that the best part of her is that she loves to be cuddled and loved and that is the best feeling in the world!!

Spring is here!!

I am so happy that spring is here, it was nice to be able to open the windows and let fresh air in, plus I also got to put Morgan in some of her new spring/summer clothes which was fun. We had a few days where it was really hot and hard to adjust, but it was still nice.

We also got Morgan a swing for the great swing set that came with our house and it is a hit!! She loves it as well as being outside.

It was a bit bright out, so we didn't have her in it too long, but she loves playing in the sand as well

Her newest thing since she has started walking is sitting on things. She is fascinated with finding anything that she can sit on and then get up and do it all over again, this ranges from stairs, cabinets, a step stool and even the dogs!!

So we bought Morgan a horse that she can wheel around the house a while ago and today she decided that she was going to try that, except it was on Abbie, thank goodness Abbie is so patient and let's her do things like this to her.

We even went on our first camping trip this last weekend and Morgan did really good, we went a bunch last year but she wasn't mobile so it was easy, she adjusted really well, the only issue was it was really windy where we were at and my batteries for the camera were dead so I didn't get that many pictures. Here she is trying to fish with Reagan's fishing pole, dad was really proud!!

We are looking forward to many more camping trips and I know that she is going to love them too!!

Easter 2009

It was Morgan's 2ND Easter and we had a great day with Tyson's family at Aunt Donna and Uncle Bob's house. I can't wait till next year to be able to give her a Easter basket and for her to understand the meaning of it. I was horrible this year and just ran out of time so I didn't do one for her, but next year will be a different story.

She wasn't in the mood to pose for pictures so I did get some but not any front on with her smiling. I even dressed her up in a dress and tights (I rarely do that)

Also in big news last Wednesday we were at home and all of a sudden Morgan stood up and just started walking, as if she has been doing it for weeks!! We are so excited as she is almost 15 months and it seemed like she wasn't going to walk ever!!

Over the past few days I have had to say "No Morgan" over and over again, I guess I should get used to it as she is finally starting to get into everything!!

She saw Dad mowing for the first time ever and she sat in front of the glass door for a 1/2 hour w/o making a peep except to bang on the glass once in a while, she was fascinated with the mower!!

I finally started to do stuff to her hair as it is getting so long on top and is always in her face. Daycare every once in a while will do her hair too, so I went out and bought some really cute barettes and clips and now I am excited to try new things.

Now that she is walking we have many more milestones to come across and I can't wait to witness them, she is learning something new every day and it is the best thing to watch her learn and soak up what you are teaching her. Now for the next few months we are looking forward to camping, BBQ's, vacations, ETC.

Spring Fever

I have spring fever bad and can't wait for the sun to shine all the time and the weather to warm up!!! It feels like this has been the LONGEST winter ever!! I am excited to get Morgan outside and helping us garden. For now we are stuck inside entertaining ourselves. Morgan is now obsessed with trying to put Dada's shoes on!! She gets mad if she can't get her foot in, I had to help her a little but the picture turned out perfect.

She is getting to be a little young lady....

This last Sunday we also got to babysit Maggie for the day, we had her from 730-430 and they got to play all day. It was also a huge reality check on what it would be like w/ 2 toddlers at the same tired and I have to say that I was TIRED at the end of the day. They were really cute together and really would interact, at one point they were babbling back and forth to each other!!

We only managed 45 minutes for a nap, at the same time and then they just didn't want to sleep. Needless to say they were very tired and cranky at the end of the day. It was fun to let them have all that time to play as that was the longest that they were together since they were born!!

Thank goodness Tyson was here to help there was no way I could of done it on my own!!
