Last week went by fast, I am not sure why because we really didn't have anything going on but I can't believe it is Monday already and almost Halloween, which I am sooooo excited for this year to see how Cameryn and Jaidyn are going to react to getting candy! Here is my menu for this week, stay posted as I have another post to update you guys on our new annual Saturday movie night!
Sunday: Pork Chops, scalloped potatoes and corn
Monday: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans
Tuesday: Chicken Fettuccine (the Alfredo recipe is from PW), bread sticks and salad
Wednesday: Taco Soup (our Halloween tradition) and taquito's
Thursday: Tilapia (we didn't have this last week), roasted potatoes and Green beans
Friday: Pizza Night
Saturday: Appetizers, Wings, stuffed mushrooms and Hawaiian Sweet Rolls (I have made these once and they were delicious!)
I am also already planning next weeks menu. I have to get a big spaghetti batch done as we have no sauce left in our freezer but I thought I would save that for Sunday since I like to cook in my crock pot on Sunday nights, I also have some left over pot roast meat that I want to make something out of, as well as a big pork roast to make pulled pork so I am going to try to get my menu done for next week this week! Have a great week and please check back as I have another post about our movie night!

My Menu
I am having a hard time planning my menu this week, mostly because there is so much I want to make that I have been craving and I am just not sure what route to go, but again, here is my menu and I am making it up as I type (again) But hey, that is okay at least I will have a plan in place.
Sunday: Pot Roast in the Crock pot, with potatoes (from our garden), carrots, and onions, and Rhodes Rolls
Monday: Kielbasa, cheesy noodles and green beans
Tuesday: Chicken and Noodles (My FAVORITE recipe from PW), Easy Parmesan Bites (I haven't made these before but they look good) and corn
Wednesday: Taco's, tator tots, and re fried beans
Thursday: Sweet and Sour Chicken (new recipe, I haven't tried), Fried Rice (another new recipe) and egg rolls
Friday: Parmesan Crusted Tilapia (from Rachel Ray), roasted potatoes, and salad (leftover veggies as well if we have them)
Saturday: Cheeseburgers and The Perfect French Fries (from PW--of course)
I am trying a few new things this week and I am excited, I get sick of the same old food all the time. I know that I seem a bit obsessed with The Pioneer Woman and I know I have said this before but honestly there has not been ONE dish of hers that I made that I would not make again. And her Chicken and Noodles recipe is the BEST! Have a great week everyone!!

Update on our life
This summer went by way too fast, I can't even believe Halloween is right around the corner! I finally got around to downloading pictures from our camera and thought I would update on the girls and what we have been up to these past few months!
Morgan Jo: Morgan started preschool in September, she goes on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9-1130, the first 3 times I dropped her off she cried, she didn't want me to leave, but after that she now runs into the room and can't wait to go back! She is very observant, asks ALOT of questions and remembers almost anything (including things we have done years ago) She gets bored easily so I am always trying to think of things that she can do to keep her busy. Here are some of her favorite things currently:
Age: 4 years and 9 months (where did the time go).
Favorite Food: Peanut butter and Strawberry Jam sandwiches, Celery, Carrots, plums, apples, oranges, Swiss cheese, Doritos, and any kind of chocolate
Dislikes: Scrambled Eggs, Asparagus, and onions
Favorite T.V. Show: Curious George, Strawberry Shortcake (which is her Halloween costume this year), and Bob the Builder
Favorite activity: Painting, she loves painting.
Favorite Color: Purple, she wants to wear purple EVERYDAY
Favorite toy: She loves to play in the sandbox, she loves riding her bikes, and really likes playing with puzzles
Favorite character: Hello Kitty and Strawberry Shortcake
What she wants to be when she grows up: Recently she told me that she wants to be a Fireman
Fun Fact: She has lost 2 bottom teeth! The dentist is not concerned since she is on the younger side because she is getting her adult teeth in right after.
Cameryn Paige: Cameryn is our "emotional" child, if you tell her No or Stop it is usually followed by a meltdown of tears! She is content playing on her own, although from time to time really gets into playing with her sisters. She is a mama's girl! She still is talking too much, but she does say Mama, Daha (for daddy), Da (dog), IIII (for Hi, and waves at the same time), ohhh (for uh-o), she signs Please, More, All Done, Drink, Banana and Help. She knows the noises for Cat, Dog, Monkey, Lion, Elephant, Giraffe, Duck, Bird, and Train. It gets better every day!
Age: 2 years and 3 months
Favorite Food: Bananas, Cheese, Grapes, Pineapple, Oranges, Ketchup, Chicken Nuggets, and fries
Dislikes: Casseroles
Favorite T.V. Show: She doesn't care for t.v., ususally when the girls are having t.v. time she is playing with a toy.
Favorite thing: She LOVES shoes, she is always playing and putting on different shoes
Favorite toy: anything that stacks, clicks, (like Lego's) and anything she can push
Fun Fact: She is wearing 24 months-2t and has a size 7 shoe.
Jaidyn Elliott: Oh Jaidyn, she is a goofy girl. She is always trying to do things to make us laugh. She is very bright and usually only have to show her something once for her to remember. She is mostly obedient, however is starting to copy Morgan in someways when she doesn't want to do something (like cross her arms in front of her and pout). She is talking more than Cameryn, she says Mama, Dada, Da (dog), Hi, Nite Nite, Waaa (water), brook (for broken), Ahhh (when you explain something to her she says Ahhhh), My (for mine), she signs Please, More, All Done, Drink, Banana, and Help. She knows the sounds to Cat, Dog, Monkey, Lion, Elephant, Giraffe, Duck, Bird and Train. She is for sure a daddy's girl!
Age: 2 years and 3 months
Favorite Food: Spaghetti, Scrambled eggs, canned peaches, dry cereal, chicken nuggets, ham, crackers, and cheese puffs
Dislikes: Casseroles, and its not that she doesn't "like" fruit, but she prefers carbs over fruit (which is funny because she is our "tiniest" kid we have had)
Favorite T.V. Show: Elmo's World and Curious George
Favorite Thing: Her Elmo stuffed animal and blankets
Favorite Toy: She doesn't really have a favorite, she plays with everything
Fun Fact: She can still fit in 12 month sizes (depending on the article of clothing) and has a size 6 shoe.
Jaidyn was making a Lion noise
Lately the twins have been fighting their nap, so I am thinking that might be going away soon, but I am going to keep on trying as it is nice to get some one on one time with Morgan while they nap! I am really looking forward to this Christmas and can't wait to see how they do with the tree (we didn't get one last year) and the presents. Also, this winter my two goals for Cameryn and Jaidyn are to start them in a toddler bed and start potty training (it would be wonderful to not have to buy anymore diapers!) My two goals with Morgan is for her to fully write her name (right now she can write M and O) and to know the whole alphabet by site. I am going to have to get creative as we will be stuck in the house for most of the day when winter hits!

My Menu
I didn't post a menu last week, I had one but by the time I remember I didn't post it was already Thursday. This week is a bit different, I am making my menu as I type this, I was able to make it to the grocery store and now we have all kinds of choices for dinner, which always makes the planning hard. I am also planning around the weather, it is a bit cooler here this week so I am trying to think of things that can be used in the crock pot!
Sunday: I really don't want to say what we ate because it is embarrassing, but in defense we had a late lunch and weren't really hungry at dinner time, but knew we needed to eat. So here it is, we had Corn Dogs, chicken nuggets, onion rings and tator tots (I know I deserve the Mom of the year award for that meal!)
Monday: Spaghetti, salad and garlic bread
Tuesday: Beer Can Chicken, mashed potatoes (taters from our garden!), gravy and green beans
Wednesday: Beef and Bean Burritos (from The Pioneer Woman), tator tots and salad
Thursday: Brinner (Breakfast for Dinner), Eggs, hash browns, bacon--the whole works
Friday: I can't decide, I am either doing a crock pot dinner or Order out---Cameryn has an late eye appt this day.
Saturday: Appetizer night: Steak Bites, potato skins, and quesadilla's
I know I sound like a broken record, but I am so excited that it is getting cooler! I picked up a Pot Roast to put in the crock pot later this month, I even got some Pork Roasts for pulled pork, I have a couple of soup recipes I want to try, I love the fall!!! Have a great week!

My Menu
I didn't post a menu last week because I was busy with Jeremy, Lee and Ethan being here. They flew in on Saturday night and Jeremy had to go back to work and left Tuesday morning, but Lee and Ethan got to stay until Sunday and it was a lot of fun. The girls loved having Ethan to play with and it was nice to be able to just sit around and chit chat with Lee! Now back to a normal week except I am on Jury Duty this week and I am not sure if I am going to get called in or not so this menu may change depending on that.
Sunday: Chicken Fried Steak (from The Pioneer Woman), mashed potatoes and corn
Monday: Sesame Chicken Stir fry, and rice
Tuesday: Rigatoni, Italian sausage, salad and garlic bread
Wednesday: Chicken and Dumplings (from The Pioneer Woman), and rolls
Thursday: W.T. Baked Potatoes, mac and cheese and chili
Friday: Pot Roast, carrots, potatoes, onions, and rolls
Saturday: French Dips with leftover pot roast, and fries
It is really going to cool down this week here so I am excited to get my crock pot out and make some comfort food! All the things on this weeks menu I have been craving so I am excited that it is going to be cooling down this week. Have a great week!
